Miu Miu’s SS24 Finale: A Celebration of Style and Self-Discovery

Miuccia Prada concluded Paris Fashion Week with a resounding statement in her Spring/Summer 2024 collection for Miu Miu. The iconic designer, well-known for her knack for dressing fashion trendsetters, continued this tradition with her latest offerings. Miu Miu welcomed attendees into the esteemed Palais D’Iena art museum in the heart of the city, creating an electrifying atmosphere marked by booming thunderclaps to herald the commencement.

Within this historical venue, characterized by stately columns and grand screens, Sophia Al-Maria’s collaboration brought an otherworldly dimension to the event. The presentation unfolded as a contemplative journey of self-discovery, as models unveiled a preppy collection with an academic sensibility. Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection exuded a distinct vintage allure, commencing with exquisitely embroidered school uniforms, checkered shirting, and layered bottoms. Ruffled tops and Miu Miu-branded speedos were paired with easygoing plastered flip-flops, perfect for poolside leisure. Meanwhile, faded leather jackets and oversized belts harked back to the ’90s.

The collection seamlessly combined miniature skirts and embellished button-downs, creating cohesive, monochromatic ensembles that exuded refinement. Dresses, skirts, and coats emerged as standouts in this meticulously curated array. The grand finale featured renowned figures such as Troye Sivan, Gigi Hadid, and Cailee Spaeny, who graced the runway before Miuccia Prada took her final bow alongside Fabio Zambernardi.
