Louis Vuitton is proud to support the Costume Institute’s 2020 exhibition “About Time: Fashion and Duration”, on the occasion of New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art’s 150th anniversary. The large-scale exhibition explores fashion’s inextricable link to the concept of time, revealing how fashion has both acted as a mirror of the times and also shifted notions of image and identity over the past century and a half. This idea of a long-term, ever-evolving journey of creative innovation has been at the heart of Louis Vuitton since it was founded in 1854, and such ingenuity continues today under Nicolas Ghesquière, Artistic Director of Women’s Collections.
