Sparkling Glamour and Inclusivity: The Blonds’ Dazzling Runway and SCAD Exhibit

Dominique Jackson and Dylan Mulvaney lit up the runway at The Blonds’ spring 2024 show during New York Fashion Week. The collection drew inspiration from mythical realms and music legends like Cher, David Bowie, and Britney Spears.

Jackson, a veteran of The Blonds’ runway, stunned in a sparkling silver bodysuit with a plunging neckline, paired with Christian Louboutin booties. Mulvaney wore a glittering blue Grecian and fairy-inspired dress with clear straps, accessorized with a crystal necklace and blue Louboutin stiletto platform pumps.

The show featured a trio of transgender women, including Jackson and Mulvaney, alongside YouTube personality Gigi Gorgeous. The brand has been inclusive of transgender models since its founding in 2007.

Celebrities like Colton Haynes, Danielle Brooks, Jonathan Van Ness, and Carmit Bachar were also in attendance. Additionally, The Blonds launched an exhibit at SCAD titled “The Blonds: Glamour, Fashion, Fantasy,” running until Jan. 28. The exhibit showcases the brand’s raucous glamour and decadence, featuring creations worn by stars like Madonna, Lady Gaga, and Beyoncé.
