On the whole, Givenchy’s spring 2024 collection portrayed a softer, more feminine facet of the brand. Departing from its previous dark neutrals and denim, the collection unveiled floral-patterned gowns with draped necklines and leather wrap dresses featuring collars. Embracing the Ming Dynasty-era technique of Mud silk, the collection introduced an earthy, leather-like appearance to some pieces.
The brand introduced a fresh wave of accessories that not only possessed a distinctive appearance but also exuded an inherent sense of formality. These included chunky pearl jewelry worn as both rings and earrings, as well as petite clutches sporting large buckles, reminiscent of the Voyou bag.
