Georges Chakra used garish colors in his Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2023 collection, including neon yellow, vivid coral, flamingo pink, emerald tones, and a bright mint. Overly dramatic dimensions and elegant forms were used to achieve the designs, then astounding embellishments and accents were incorporated. The event, which took place in Palais du Tokyo in the heart of the city of love, attracted a large crowd of curious spectators, including influencer Olivia Palermo. Many were interested in discovering what the Maison would accomplish because the Maison hadn’t staged an exhibition prior to the pandemic. There will undoubtedly be attempted reenactments of the designers’ style in a collection with so much individuality.
