ELIE SAAB Bridal line Fall 2023 celebrates a bridal femininity that is grand in its shapes and immaculate in its appeal by calling upon the Grecian search of harmonic beauty. The collection is greatly inspired by Greek mythology, specifically one of the nine muses, the goddess Polyhymnia. The collection breathes life and dance into an impression of Polyhymnia by evoking intuitive aesthetics and ideal proportions. The ancient Greek culture that served as the inspiration for the collection combines femininity and beauty with a magnificent as well as aristocratic appeal. Quality materials and exquisite workmanship are used to construct statuesque silhouettes that bring traditional qualities into the present. Like triumphant Olympian crowns, lush greenery and embellished laurel leaves magnificently swirl around strapless bodices and along angelic tulle into delicate a-lines. Dazzling beads and crystals sparkle as they move with delicate lace panels to the melodies of intricate embroidery and colorful textures that shimmer with the attraction of noble sculptures made of white marble. While chantilly lace blooms over sweetheart necklines and opaque sleeves into exposing open-back gowns, lavishly draped mikado envelops natural contours with floral buttoned accents.
