Carolina Herrera’s creative director Wes Gordon showed a collection of lush florals inspired by a beloved childhood book “The Secret Garden” inside The Plaza Hotel in Manhattan, as part of the Manhattan Fashion Week 2022. This collection is unashamedly romantic, with oversized balloon sleeves in hand-painted tea roses and peonies and a maximalist verve thanks to matching head-to-toe accessories.
