Fendi Resort Collection 2023 is a collaboration by Kim Jones, Silvia Fendi, Delfina Delettrez, and Marc Jacobs. The show successfully migrated from Milan Fashion Week to New York Fashion Week at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Midtown Manhattan. Among the color-rich spectrum of fashion styles, the “baguette” style purse dominated the show, celebrating its 25th year anniversary in the fashion world. Sarah Jessica Parker contributed her version of the design to commemorate the bag’s first appearance on “Sex and the City”. The variations of the “baguette” came in all shapes and sizes including Tiffany’s iconic robin blue miniatures and super-mini “baguettes” as seen in the Dior show. Italian brand’s collaboration with New York designers brought a new flair to Jones’s vivion of global unity introducing styles truly reflective of the NYC street culture.
