Winner of the Solar Prize in 1981, Joji Hashiguchi (1949), is a Japanese photographer who has dedicated 50 years of work in portraying individuality by recounting the rapport between human being and context. In his book ‘Couple’, published in 2007, his photographs are suspended between realism and voyeurism. Paying homage to the artist with this concept in mind, the creative duo Chikashi Suzuki and Taro Okagawa shot a short film in the streets of Tokyo featuring pieces from the Gucci x DSM collection. The viewer can recognize the sounds and details of the city while being drawn into an intimate and personal scenario.
