To celebrate NYFW and Chinese Moon Festival, Trendy New York is presenting “Shanghai 1930”- First Annual Cheongsam Charity Gala. Cheongsam is a stylish and form-fitting Chinese traditional dress for women and it is very popular among socialites in Shanghai in 1930. It is best portrayed by Maggie Cheung in “In the Mood ……for Love” (????) and Tang Wei in “Lust, Caution” ????. It symbolizes elegance, class and sophistication. Shanghai in 1930 is “Paris of the East”. Moon cakes and hors d’oeuvre will be served. All guests will receive a Shiseido gift bag.
Live piano will be performaning all night long. National Ms 2014 will walk on rose petals runway.with other elegant and sexy models! Very romantic! Three lucky winners will get Trendy New York “Shanghai 1930” Limited Edition earrings and Desigual iPhone case.
